Hi, my boyfriend said our one goose got her head stuck under the porch this morning, and she flailed to get out. I just noticed she has a scrape on her chin that's a little bloody. What's the best way to go about treating a wound on a goose? Thanks!

I'm not a goose expert, but nobody else has answered so I'll give my best advice. You should disinfect it once a day with antibacterial spray. If it's shallow maybe not even that. How bad is the wound? If it's just a scrape I wouldn't worry about it in the long run.

Thank you! The wound isn't super bad, more just a scrape where the feathers are missing, so it's red, but not like a gash or anything. But it's like maybe a half inch or so in length and less than that in width. I tried dabbing it with a warm cloth earlier, but she really wasn't wanting that, lol, so I didn't do much.

For potential future injuries, do you have a suggestion on poultry-safe antibacterial spray? Or will any animal one do?
