Now someone from BYC needs to adopt Pine so they can post lots of pictures of him. He's a handsome duck!

Pine is good too. He sticks to himself and doesn't fight our drake. The girls love him! We are a little worried we may get some mule ducks from a hatching project we are sponsoring.

Yes, there is a debate as to whether the Africans sold by hatcheries are really Africans or Brown Chinese. If you look at the pictures on Metzers website you can see a difference in size and confirmation between the two. What they call Africans are bigger. Natasha is a good 20 lbs. Real Africans are supposed to have dewlaps. Nartasha does not. So bottom line is I don't care what she officially is because I think she's beautiful.
