Henny, these are pics of some of my pied gozzies last September-ish. They´re mixed-breed. You can see they have a lot of light down on them. Are they darker than Lucy?

Hi ruru, I´d imagine it´s the same with goose or incubator. As regards the 32 days, I believe some bigger breed geese go to 32, but mine do 28 or 29, being little ones.
Well that´s interesting. There you go, then, Ruru. From the horse´s mouth.Last year i put 8 african eggs in the incubator and at the same time my african goose was sitting on her 6 eggs and while the gooses eggs hatched on day 30 the ones in the incubator hatch on day 33 and i always found that geese hatch their babies faster then using an incubator (thats nature)![]()
Yeah, well, you guessed a few of my females as being males, so maybe Henny´s is the same, a tomboy.Lucy looks maleish
But what do i know lets see and find out XD
Henny my babies are fine! One is growing faster then the other even tho the little one eats alot more! I love this time of the year
Aw they're lovely. I dream of one day having more than 1 gosling at a time!Henny, these are pics of some of my pied gozzies last September-ish. They´re mixed-breed. You can see they have a lot of light down on them. Are they darker than Lucy?
Here they are after I put them back with mum. I had some of them hatch under a duck, and some of them hatch indoors as mum was spooked by the hatchlings! They look darker than Lucy, what do you think?
Haha brazil remmber those masculine females! Good times.
