Goslings of 2014 Hatch-a-long

Done at the bank, now to just wait to see if it gets approved or if they need anything else, documentation and whatnot. I hate waiting :he

While it might not be about you, passing out on camera could be to HIS benefit. People would think something was seriously wrong with YOU (heart attack, stroke, etc.,) and be more willing to donate for the BOTH of you. But you, in turn, could choose to just pass it all on to him.

I am not that old :old
35 year old women, even ones with metal rods in their spines, do not in gereal have heart attacks and strokes. But I am upset on his behalf, it's possible I could end up cring on camera. But he really needs all the support and help we can give him, so I'll take that risk.

Thanks for the compliments on my new bird.  She is very pretty!  I'm still not sure if I will keep her as I have a couple of friends with pigeons who have offered to take her and I am not really set up for pigeons.  But for now, she is doing well in our spare bedroom and we are in no hurry to make any major decisions about her.

Doves/pigeons are easier to care for than chickens or geese. And if she is tame, she will become much beloved by her caretakers.

Not quite. Two of my nephews are only related by marriage. Their mother actually died at the age of 23 from a heart attack. My sister adopted them when she married their dad.

But it was more of what people might THINK if you passed out, than it was your age. Don't worry, I am right up here with you too, lol

Whoot, us thirty something people have to stick together!

I am sorry about your nephews tragic past. Sorry doesn't really cut it, but there really are no words to offer after something like that happens.

It has been a very motivating reason to stay healthy, though!

Went in to clean Missy and Sams house and saw # 18 laying out from under it's cover of shavings nasty as all get out so decided to bring it in to test for fertility, now Missy has not been brooding she may go in for an hour once a day and she does sit on them at night, some days she isn't in there at all. but when I opened this egg up ya'll it had veins so it had started to develop. I thought they had to be brooding 24/7 before they started to develop. It did make me feel badly. She laid #27 this morning before daylight. so she laid 2 eggs a day apart.

Yes, my health has been declining steadily, and my mother has cancer and can't be around any chemicals not even deodorant. So last year I started a garden and this year added chickens and geese, no telling what next year will bring.

My husband and I have been using this recipe for months now. http://sewgreen.blogspot.com/2010/08/make-yourself-un-stinky.html Also been making and selling my own variation of it. Can't keep it in stock. Hope this helps! (We use less corn starch due to sensitivities)

Woke up to happy surprises in the incubator this morning!

The ducklings came out of khaki campbell eggs, so I guess I need to have a serious sit down talk with my cayuga boys!

Any guesses as to gosling? I have Embden/Chinese, Embden, Toulouse, Toulouse/Chinese, and one African/Embden, and one Seb/tufted roman.

I like these kinds of mornings and Reece the Terrible finally has a buddy!

i just got great news, my neighbor has a son! the house is actually in the son's name, so we are trying to track him down. I just hope the son doesn't try and stick my neighbor in a nursing home, my neighbor would not survive in that kind of environment.
