and yes his goslings were colored alot like him, he has an Embden mate.

His dad was a production Toulouse and mom an Embden.. all the babies from them were easy to sex as all the boys looked like Halloween and all the girls looked pure Toulouse.

He´s gorgeous. I´m cooking my brain over these genetics. So, Halloween had a dilute gene from his mum, but only one, being he´s a male...so does that mean, then, to get his colour, that his dad had to have a dilute gene hidden away there somewhere?
I´ve been reading through so much stuff that my brain´s about to clock off. With what mine produced last year, I can´t make sense of it. I´ll keep trying, though.

Yes, after looking again at halloween as a gosling, I go for the seb baby being lavender.

Yes serv that looks almost identical to that african gander. Is yours a gander or a goose?
The more i see pics that you all are posting, and what their bloodlines are the more i think i have at a chance at these.
Both of Ethels yellow marked eggs are developing and im sure there are more of hers in the incubator. Im also really sure that the toulouse gander is the father, they are always together and off by themselves. Also seen them mating on the pond several times. 20 more days and i will see.

Was she already like this when she arrived at your house?  Has it got worse?  I ask, because some goslings are terrors at 'grazing'  other goslings.  Maybe it´s because the people pulled it off, or maybe it´s just the other gozzies doing this.  It´s not likely to be due to the taste of any egg.  if the other one is grazing her, then really the best thing to do for now is give them plenty of things to keep them occupied, like constant grass to graze, or a cabbage/broccolli tied up for them to tug at, etc. Goslings´instincts are to graze.  Graze, sleep, pull something apart...graze, sleep, pull something apart... 

Sorry it took so long to reply, we had very high winds, my rose bushes snapped A power pole on my parent property also snapped and it leaning at a very dangerous angle. Its my parents pole so we are about to go take it down.
When my hubby brought the babies home, she had patches on her neck and head that wasn't fluffy. It had dried hard and even after putting a little water and rubbing the spot it stayed hard. That's why I called the feed store to ask about it. Now, those patches are bald.
