Goslings of 2014 Hatch-a-long

8 its my 11 month old gander and if you cross your toulouse gander with your embden or tuffed geese you will get that grey colour but its only 25% chance it will be that grey colour and if you cross mixed breed geese with mixed breed geese (which you have ) you for sure will get this type of colour :)

So when do Sebastapols start looking like, well Sebastapols?

So if I put my mixed-breed saddlebackgoose with her mixed-breed pied nephew, what would you expect to happen?

Sorry it took so long to reply, we had very high winds, my rose bushes snapped

A power pole on my parent property also snapped and it leaning at a very dangerous angle. Its my parents pole so we are about to go take it down.
When my hubby brought the babies home, she had patches on her neck and head that wasn't fluffy. It had dried hard and even after putting a little water and rubbing the spot it stayed hard. That's why I called the feed store to ask about it. Now, those patches are bald.
Oh, well I don´t know, then. Sounds more like she had glue on her! But she´ll be fine when her new feathers start to come through. Been a bit busy for you there, then!

Well, I have silkies popping out in the incubator a day early and the late gosling finally internally pipped! So I'm hoping to see him on Friday - only a week late :rolleyes So I'll see him about the time the other sebbies are due. I do find it fascinating that I could set two eggs at the same time and have one hatch a full week later than the other. Not something you see with chickens!

Brazil i thought the same haha! Like you said i still need to improve it more and its next year when im starting to breed that gander :) it has a black strip at the tip of the beak so the black beam still has to improve and avoid the whitish feathers .

As long as these goslings are healthy, it doesnt matter what color they are. Im just happy to have goslings coming again this year.
