Ya I lived in PA last year thats why I got the new birds this year ( since I moved last ( 2 summers ago i moved to Colorado but I got my birds last spring) but the one neighbor was a city folk and didnt know anything abiut birds and she let her Pomeranian dog out came over for a week scaring my chickens and on the last day it got my SLW cockerel and those babies were only 3/12 months so they were young but i hated her she almost hit me and my dad we hafe no idea why but she speed up at us and litterally came withing a few feet from hitting us but I think my dad pushed me and he ran but we were just crossing our driveway ( it was a shared driveway between 5 people) so ya she was a jerk and then we put a speed bump up bc she was going atleast 80 back throughout there and we put e bump up and she just went into our neighbors ( which were very nice people bc they were country lol) property and would go on there land but she thought she owned everything and wouldn't listen and she said that she didn't kill my roo and crap like that but oh well we are now out here and I can have my animals bs no one cares. Out here its a small town but everyone has atleast 5 acres but we have 10 bc we are one of the original homesteads and we have to have the 10 acres which is nice but a fence is supposed to keep an animals in t here it's supposed to keep animals out so the bottom fence the neighbor put it up and it is a crappy fence and the cow got out and went through his fence walked to the road went 2 houses down and someone must've thought it was there cow and put him in but the property connects to ours so we just called his name and he came but my point is no one cared but some city folks are very cool and want to become country like our neighbor that is helping me with the sign business they are from a town outside of Portland Oregon so they are used to the city but his wife is the one that wants the goozie wants it hatches and is buying some chickens from me so not all are bad just the ones that think that they are everything liek MILEY CYRUS

Good to see you too, P and Serv. :)

We are not in our new home yet, but hope to have a move-in date by end of next week.

8, very sorry to hear about your geese, but CONGRATS on your precious baby girl!

Is it true not to breed 2 pure bred sebbies together??
Nate, the only thing I could find that looks like a caution about breeding sebbies is "...It is best to avoid breeding two specimens both having curly breast feathers, as they may develop abnormal wings." So, I am reading that as it is perfectly o.k. to breed pure bred sebbies just not if they both have curly breast feathers.
