Next time you could be bending over and he could hit you in the face or eye... If he is young and doing this, it will get worse with age. A good rooster is capable of telling the difference between something that is a danger to his hens and the hands that feed them. I'm with those that are for the freezer/stew pot. If you had ever had a good rooster, you would not be contemplating keeping this stupid, rogue.

I don’t believe in killing my cock when he never try’s to attack me, he was just doing his job as a cockerel since his end we’re right next to him
