How are you using it? Meaning to sharpen the knife before slaughter? That's always a good idea.

It's par to the course with poultry. Male & females will get ya from time to time. Got to show no fear to males. If you can't get them to fear you, time to get them down the road or into a pot.

I think it’s a bit disrespectful to call people’s beloved chickens, “just chickens”. Lots of us place a higher value on our birds and love them as much as any other pet.

Yeah I ageee, It is very unempathetic and a bit rude to tell someone else the moral value of their animals. I mean is it that hard to understand that some people don’t just use their birds as egg machines lol?

Yep, have gotten bit just a good ol soapy wash. If you are worried, can't go wrong with a pinch on iodine. Sorry for the bite! They can definitely hurt a bit. As far as how to handle him, its up to you. You can chop him if he continues to become aggressive... Or just give him some space, but never let him dominate you, like try to chase you around and what not. Hope it works out for you.

You'll be o.k , bird bites hurt pretty bad but they rarely turn nasty.
