Got my coffee, a donut, and a happy song in my head....

Cute cheetah, boo.

I hope you're feeling better today.

I'm so glad Grant is on the mend, Algae!

Michelle, congratulations, and I LOVE that dress.

Yup, SFIL is moving out in March, they found a place about a half mile away, so they are moving out here. They don't see the point in being half the country away from grandkids.

Is your DH an only child? If so, he more than made up for it. teehee

Nope, he's got an older sister and brother, SIL is happily single and lives in CT, BIL is married and lives in Germany. His half siblings are in NH, VT and RI. So his family has all progressively moved out East. MIL and SFIL just didn't move because it wasn't worth selling when DH is the only child in the military, so I was the only one playing single parent, so they stayed to help out. Then we up and move out this way also, so they started to look around. The place they found was half the price of anything in another area. So they are staying near us. Since we are SO far away from the rest of the family.

But more so, his family is fine with whatever. Plus we are the only idiots with more kids than hands and also very young kids now. Please, DH and I together have more kids than his siblings put together.

Good morning!

I've gotten a good start on cleaning my house yesterday.
You can actually see the bed in catch all room again, and the sheets and blankies are all washed.
There were so many dust bunnies in living room, no wonder I'm having congestion problems! lol

Its hard to keep up after feeding 500 students daily.

I had a blast at my niece's baby shower. At the end of the party when she wasn't looking, her friends ran in with boxes of capri sun and dumped them all over her bed, there were 400 of them! Guess she loves capri sun. lol

And a friend of mine was there, and I asked, how do you know my niece, and she said it is her sister's son that is the father. Oh, so we are going to be great aunts of the same baby. Fun stuff!

Sunday I bought my turkey and most of the pie making stuffs, yum yum.

And DIL's mom is scheduling her turkey to be done later than my turkey so DS and DIL and grandgirls can come to my house first, then to hers. We kind of live in the same town, except I'm in country part and she is in town part, so I think that is very sweet. DIL's mom is a cool lady and we get along pretty good.

I keep thinking I really need another chicken pen, cuz I just do not want to give up my surprise chickies. They are my own line of the chickens that run wild around here. Game hens are hardy, and interesting colors. And I want to keep any that are hens, and I want all 6 of them to be hens. Plus I still have the one that runs lose with the mama, and it better be a hen too!!

I feel a bit better, but I have only one more day of meds, and I'm wondering if I'll really be all the way better, or I might have to go back to doc, cuz I just don't think my lungs are going to be all the way clear.

What else, well this is long enough for right now.

Happy Turkey Day Eve!!!

DH is working all weekend, so we aren't doing much. The older kids get why, the younger kids don't care so long as there is pie. Plus we've had so many missed holidays/birthdays, it's not a huge issue in our world anymore.

A young man under DH has a 19 month old toddler who has been sick constantly since before we moved here. Their pedi kept saying to keep him away from bugs and such. They finally decided to go to our pedi, who we've recommended, when he was so good with Grant. The baby has late stage leukemia and was put in PICU immediately. They are testing to see if they can still treat the baby. DH took this man's shifts so he can be with his wife and baby in the hospital.

I'm going to hit the next person who says DH shouldn't be working. We know dang well what it's like to have a kid in the hospital when they are talking about potentially fatal illness. Now I'm just GLAD Grant got that sick since it's what talked these parents into taking their kid to another doctor. Grant's recovering, he's up to at least sitting in DH's recliner during the day where he can interact with MIL, Patrick, Thomas and me.

Rest of the kids are all healthy and fine still. Which I am VERY thankful for.

Your husband is a good man. I hope the baby can be treated successfully. Leukemia isn't the death sentence it used to be. Glad to hear Grant is up. Sitting in dads chair imparts lots of good feelings. My son still angles for it when he is home.
