There is a light at the end of the tunnel. Finished the nest boxes, and put the siding up. I still have to put up battens between the boards, but closing the coop in is the fun part (next to puting up the framed walls).

Thanks. Just when I think I am close to finishing the coop, I think about all the work still left to do; people door, rear window, pop door, roof, and trim! Oh yeah, the run too.......

What are the measurements of your coop? I'm lokoking to build a 6x10 and wondered if your plan would work for me.

It is 6'x8'. The peak is ~ 7'. I made it high so I have a full size door opening (did not want to bang my head). I like a steep roof with nice overhangs to keep rain off the windows. This is a 8/12 pitch roof.
