Got our ducklings!

They will be 6 weeks old on Sept 2

Tried to take a pic thru the kitchen window - our neighbor & his grandson. I think our ducks enjoy kids!

7 weeks old tomorrow (sept 9). They free range all day and stay in the cage (bed) at nite. Almost fully feathered. We put up the little fence - got tired of cleaning the porch. So they line up & wait for us.

Moved the pit under the oak while I'm building their house. They love to lay under the bbq. Don't they know?

almost done with the house. It'll have wheels at one end to move around the yard. Duck tractor / duck ark / duck mobile home!

Very nice look forward to seeing it completed.

Have fun with them! I just got my first ducklings a couple months ago and I've enjoyed them so much.

I am the worlds worst (and slowest) handyman. Still not done, but getting there. It'll have panels across back and halfway down each side when completed. Roof opens in 4 doors to access inside. Once I have wheels & handles done I can drag it around. Seriously thinking about a hitch for the lawnmower. Gotta figure out a water system I'm happy with also.
