Got our ducklings!

I am the worlds worst (and slowest) handyman. Still not done, but getting there. It'll have panels across back and halfway down each side when completed. Roof opens in 4 doors to access inside. Once I have wheels & handles done I can drag it around. Seriously thinking about a hitch for the lawnmower. Gotta figure out a water system I'm happy with also.

'Einstein' is ALWAYS last for anything!
That is an awesome tractor, great job!!!!

Inspiring!

Whoa! I never thought of doing one that I could open from the roof... I might have to re-draw my blueprints now.

And don't worry, you're not the slowest. All I've done is measure stuff out and draw what I'd like it to look like. We were supposed to start building three weekends ago! XD

The girls are 9 weeks old today. Feathers everywhere, getting their big girl feathers now.

Almost done, need to put sides on this evening (ran out of screws)

And just because I can - my granddaughters w/ show pigs for this year.

I am building a new run and house for my ducks. I only have one adult and three ducklings. Her name is tilly and she is a khaki Campbell too!!! That is part of the reason that I have been following this story! So cute. Tilly goes right under the shovel or rake too grab a worm or something and walks right in front of me and my mom. XD I will post my progress soon.

By color is easier because males are a much duller brown and have a green head. This is visible very early in their lives. You can also tell if the drake/duck is male when his voice is very raspy and the ducks will have a very definate "quack". :)
