Got picked on, bubbles in eye?

Yeah, he just got beaten up pretty badly. My one rooster who got an eye injury from fighting another rooster, that left him blind in one eye did foam at one point during treatment off, & on. But I'm pretty sure that had to do with either irritation, or the infection he had going on due to me not getting to it soon enough. It was a busy week, it wasn't until about 5 days later I had the time to treat him. His eye smelled of infection, but I managed to save his eye, but he's blind in it now.View attachment 2989055I cleaned with mild salt water, & applied Non pain Relieving Triple Antibiotic ointment in his eye every day.
I had ordered terramycin but it was still being shipped at the time, but after I received it, I continued the mild salt water wipe/flush, then applied terramycin. I did this about 1-2 times a day until the tube was gone. By this time he was healed up.
Thanks Mystery! Hopefully he doesn't go blind. 🤞

You're welcome. You maybe able to get the eye swelling down with a cold compress. A wettened/damp rag chilled in the freezer held on the area for a few minutes at a time.

Your's doesn't look as bad as my boy did.
Your's my have only gotten some scratches at most in the eyes, my boy took a spur in his. Lots of goop, & bloody chunks I was constantly wiping out.

Have you attempted any wound care yet? He needs to have you clean his wounds with cotton balls and an antibacterial wound cleansing solution. Then gently smear on antibacterial ointment on all of the wounds.

You need to get some Terramycin eye ointment from your feed store or order it online. Flush the eyes with saline eye wash twice a day, and put the Terramycin in his eyes twice a day until they heal.

Are all the photos of the one roo? Looks like a white chicken get stuck in the mix.

I was just about to.
I made some saline to use. I don't have terramycin but I'll get some asap.
The white rooster is @MysteryChicken 's.

He gurgled some while I was cleaning him up. 😣

I cleaned his eyes out with saline solution, dipped a wrag in the leftover saline and gently sponged off his face, dried him off, and put ointment on the bloodiest spots.
He's in a cage in the garage, and I'm going to make him some moist food so he'll hopefully eat and get some liquid.

Pics after cleaning. He opened both eyes some.
He was very alert and a perfect gentleman the whole time, like usual.

He walked around a bit afterwards and had this poop. Looks mostly normal to me.

He may be in pain and a chewable aspirin once or twice a day can make him more comfortable. Try a little sugar in his water for a day or two. This can give him a lift by elevating his glucose. It should help him to feel a bit perkier.

In a couple of weeks, he should be almost as good as new. But between now and then, do his wound care every day so he heals as quickly as possible. If you can, buy some Vetericyn wound spray. Spritz him in the face a couple times a day. This will encourage new tissue to grow over the wounds much faster.

My head rooster got picked on bad, I'm guessing either because he wasn't acting right before and my other cockerel tried to dominate him while he was weak, or the cockerel tried to dominate him just because, and he bled and got bubbles in his eye from infection or something?
I didn't notice this last night, but it was a busy day and I didn't check everyone over as much as usual. I just found him like this hiding in the nest box. It looks fresh to me. It's been pretty cold all day so they've been in the coop most of today too.
Please tell me these bubbles are not a sign of illness and just a result from getting picked on.

Also, what do I do? I can't bring him inside and I'm worried if I wipe his head off he'll get too cold. I've already separated him into a dog crate. All of my other birds look perfectly fine.

@azygous @Eggcessive @Wyorp Rock please help!

He gurgled some while I was cleaning him up. 😣
It's good that you cleaned him up and wiped out the eyes. Triple antibiotic ointment in and around the eyes is ok. I would apply a thin layer of ointment to his face as well.
He's been beaten up. The bubbles are not uncommon in birds that have had a beating like this, he's been kicked in the face multiple times, penned down, etc. Dirt/debris from the scuffled not to mention what was kicked up gets into the eyes. They will water and bubble up debris. Do like you did, rinse and apply ointment a couple of times a day.
The gurgling is likely from blood from inside the beak or he may have aspirated some blood or saliva. Most of the time that will resolve in a day, if it doesn't, then he may need an antibiotic.
Him eating and drinking is good.
I'm not a fan of giving aspirin to a beat up rooster (or hen) with head/facial injuries. Put him in a separated area with plenty of straw to settle in with food water. Keep other males completely away from the cage/separated area. The Ladies, if possible can wander by and chat though.

What breed is he?
You mention he wasn't acting right or weak? Has he been showing signs of illness before this? If so, then look him over more closely for lice/mites, see that his crop is emptying and get a fecal float to see if worms are a problem.
If he doesn't come right in a couple of days let us know. He will be sore. DO look him over for other cuts and wounds, along the back of the neck, under the wings, etc. Nails and beaks can cut.
He may act depressed, some do and don't ever regain their courage once beaten. Think about what you may need to do if that happens. Can you house him separate. Once he's better, he may challenge the cockerel or the cockerel may challenge again....

Things to mull over while he's healing.
