ps my mother was the one who told me to write some kind of pumpkin on one cuz we got it at a farmers market and didnt say what it was but it was yummy.

Here is the Butternut squash. Great keeper. Two hills made enough for the extended family too.
It also has a red gold flesh that bakes and cans well. Where you see the cut line...it is solid flesh above the cut and the seed cavity begins below it. So there is a lot of flesh in this squash.

I am ready to start packaging up a few seeds, was going to put in small paper envelopes (made from a cut up sheet of paper)

I still have more to dry!

That will be about the time I am starting my 2nd Annual Spring Seed Swap. Flowers, vegetables, pretty much anything you can grow from seed.
