Gourd/Squash/Pumpkin Seed Swap

Mine are all packaged and ready, but haven't got them to the post office yet, plan on doing that the first of the week (mon if the post office is open) and tues if it isn't.

I have 5 types w/ 12 pkts each, some big, some not big, some summer, some not summer. Most what I raised this year.

Can't wait to see what everyone swaps!

I'm sorry I totally spaced on the timing - thers is no way I can get those last two batches of seeds dried in time

I can only send two

What is the quickest way I can get these dried and still mailed out prior to the deadline? My husband said oven but he's really wanting me to have salt on them if I put them in there.

Wash them gently and lay them on a towel in a single layer. Put them, uncovered, somewhere warm, but not hot. Think top of fridge, or sunny window. Too hot will render them unusable.

I did on top of my fridge and they were dry enough in just a few days.​

I was feeling bummed because I was only going to have 1 kind of seed to send out to everyone.

Lo and behold, I am now drying seeds for a Fairytale Pumpkin that I rescued from my sisters place yesterday just before my nephews used it for target practice!

Can't wait to grow this one next year...lots of nice meat with a small seed cavity and tons of seeds.
