Gourd/Squash/Pumpkin Seed Swap

OHHHHH fairytale pumpkin I was wanting to try that. I'm planning on adding a ton of trellis space to the garden this coming year so I've been scouring the seed catalogues for vining plants that have trellis sized fruits.

I just googled it I think I have it confused w/ another one since this one gets to 15 lbs, but it sounds delishous (sp check says that's wrong)

I am going to butcher my 3 last pumpkins today....

good bye my friend bluemoon

And I sure hope I get some fairy tale seeds!

I hope to mail by Tuesday! Sorry to lag, but I have a bag full of seeds from grouds and pumpkins people gave me for this exchange or ones that I saved from around the yard.

My seeds went in the mail this morning. I can't wait to see what type of seeds I get back.

Mine went in the mail today also.

I am sending enough seeds for everyone to get each of the type of seed I'm sending. But I'm not saying what they are

It was almost 70 here today....was considering what would be good to plant in the garden (now)

I am also sending enough for every one. I was thinking I am going to fence off a new area just for pumpkins. I am going to start all the winter squash on the inside of our big garden, but put all the vines through the fencing out to the area patrolled by chickens and not in our growing space.

The gourds will probably all be up by the house, just so that we keep them apart.

I have been working on clearing out a bigger area for pumpkins as well. Im planning to grow as many varietys as I can this year. That way I can have plenty to make into puree to freeze so I can make pumpkin pies and of course I couldnt forget the chickens, they will have plenty to pick at also. If they grow as good for me this coming year as they did this year.
