Very interesting! I'm looking for answers, and right now the closest thing I found was purple urates in reptiles.

Morning, Camping, That look like fish eggs

It tasted a bit like brown rice, or lentils, when it was plain. Frying made it a bit crunchier, and of course garlic/salt/pepper can fix anything. Coarsely ground black pepper and pink Himalayan salt. I was feeling pretty fancy. I’ve got several good ideas for what to do next time.
