The youngsters didn't even want to go out in the run. They are still getting used to the coop.

I got the Leopard's Bane planted today in front of the coop, outside the fence. Pulled a bunch of weeds today and fed them to the critters. Transplanted some clumps of grass to the goat pasture.
We had ham, pasta, and broccoli tonight for supper.

great job Cap. I fed the chickens, wound up the electric cord. found out why my bill was $400.00 Cord is burnt.
Robert bought new screws for the plates on the van and none of them fit so he got mad and threw them in the garbage.
One of my Jub. hens is standing around. I put new shavings in their coop, was a muddy mess and Now I am finally going to eat my tv dinner. I had to shower after that mess ! Peeyuw

I went out after supper and worked on getting weeds and leaves away from the base of the garden fence. Got about halfway around the perimeter. The LF Cochins that live in the garden tractor actually went back in as it started to get dark, all by themselves. That is a first for them!

You could lay PVC pipe and run the extension cord through it.
