LOL - was it just the fact that something was on him or that it was pickle juice? DH is definitely ANTI PICKLE -- I joke about putting a dab of juice behind each ear for "husband repellant", sad thing is it would definitely work!Just asked Tom to help me make lunch. He opened the pickle jar and got a drop of juice on him and took off to change clothes. I said thanks for the help.
Hi there! Pull up a chair and sit a spell........Hey guys. Mind if I stick my head in here?![]()

I think like with anything it is all about how it's prepared -- anything can be nasty and just about anything can be made delicious. I've had it well prepared and liked it.I have heard goat meat is nasty but I guess that depends on how hungry you are.
Lisa brought some phesant jerkey and deer summer sausage and Robert has ate it all but one sausage. He dont even bother with cheese and crackers . He just grabs one and goes to town on it. No slicing needed
My cochins were broody raised, so they aren't super sweet, but they're both tame - although Izzy doesn't like to be held much, but that's okaySo sorry about Lady Jane.
You can't go wrong with cochin bantams --- they were some of my favorite birds to work with way back in my 4-H days because they are just SOOOO sweet and easy to handle. My Polish did really well for me too, but definitely were not sweet and easy to handle, I think they were more a hit for the novelty factor in the area we were in.
@PeepersMama -- funny sidenote, twice now I have had to double take your avavtar while scrolling down through the page a little too quickly -- granted I am having some eye issues today but at a quick scrolling glance it looked like a camel.
