Those are coquinas! They come in many different colors. Very tiny, but some folks make soup out of them.

Erv stopped in again this afternoon (I was just dozing off) was here for almost 2 hours mainly killing time before he could pick up some parts. Didn't want to drive back home again. I fed him a piece of pie with his coffee. Was informed "that hit the spot"

we finally got some rain today. Not enough to close the craters in the yard but I have a tomato about the size of a pea ! LOL

It used to be beautiful on the Atlantic coast of FL. But people mess it all up. We used to visit Daytona every year on Easter break. It was so beautiful! Lots of sea shells.

There are nice beaches on the gulf coast, esp. in Alabama and the panhandle. Louisiana is mostly muck and marsh, in my experience. I haven’t visited enough of the Texas coast, but what I’ve seen wasn’t great. If we want a nice beach, we go on a cruise. Even if you find a gulf beach with nice sand, the water still looks like chocolate milk.

So far I put the pop up tent in the truck, two folding tables, two folding chairs, a net, lots of boxes. Silkies, Roosters and bins to put chicks in. As well as stuff I need to make signs, tape, markers etc. I figure if I get up at 5 am i might be ready by the time my friend shows up at 7 am.

OH Robert was in town yesterday for a DR appointment and blood work.

His sugar was in the 500's and A1C was 8.? FRICKING idiot. evidently loosing part of one foot wasn't enough of a lesson.
