They have washable filters but your right on the smoke. Hepa works the best but I have had a few of them and none work that great. The best one I had was a huge round one that sucked air all around then blew it back out of the top. There are some I cant use. Says right on them not for people w/ sensitive airways. I cant remember what it was. like the ionizer or something .Yeah, one with 2 day delivery. The replacement filters are $$, but if it works, will be worth it. HEPA filters... supposed to work best for smoke.
I think we are having some clearing. I might have to close up the house in a minute or so.
