polk stem sliced and fried like okra supposed to be good. I was all ready to jump up and gather some ceder for tea til I remembered Im allergic to evergreens.

I got another piece of a crate today at TSC today, I should be able to extend the walls of the coop I am going to build so I can stand up in there. Also bought 2x6 x8 pressure treated boards for the floor.

They delivered our lumber today cap. Nothing like new lumber to cheer a girl up on a rainy day! First order of business while we wait for the weather to settle is to build barn style closet doors for two closets. For some reason, the Amish have real small closets and no doors on them. Only way to have a door for them is to build them so I'm building barn doors.

does it taste like olives ? I have never had it that I know of.

No, not really. It has a slightly different taste. May even be described as an acquired taste. Personally I like corn or peanut oil better but olive oil is supposed to be healthier for you so if I do French or cottage fries or cube veggies for baking in the oven I toss them with olive oil and light salt.

I really need to get that coop sprayed and all the birds treated. Then a bunch of other coops need fixing up and cleaning.
