Ahh, computer has changed desks. The narrow-ness really screws me with a few things. Oh well. Who knows, I may end up moving this back to the old desk and having this desk be lappy/paperwork desk. We shall see how it goes.

Yeah. There are fences to the side and behind they have to watch out for. The utility pole and lines, including the guy-wire holding the pole up, would get taken out if they tried to fell it with all the branches on. Even with them cut off, they still had to rope the top off and guide it to an open spot. That's wild, @wishingforwings. So they are effectively removing the slash before they drop the trunk?
Glad to hear you are home and not in the hospital. Hospital is a terrible place to try to get well. Prayers for you and your dh.I was caught up 3 days ago, bad headache since then, dh has virus also
I figure I eat enough mulch and twigs
I have been drinking Ensure, but on @h2oratt's comments, I did a little googling and found the following. I'm switching to Glucerna immediately! Thanks, h20!I will look for it today thanks
Women rule. Good for you, MChick! That's wild, @wishingforwings. So they are effectively removing the slash before they drop the trunk?
Look at the bright side. At least they are willingly taking it down. When I lived in Central IL I had two nasty Japanese Elms by the edge of my front yard that the city claimed were on their property. I argued it with them as I wanted them cut down. They were forever dropping limbs on the street that I couldn't get them to remove and one was leaning over my house.
Finally I had the property surveyed and found out that one tree was on my side of the property line and the other was half on half off.
I immediately had the one tree cut down. Forked out 1200 dollars for the work. Then called the city and said either they take down the second tree or the half on my property was going to mysteriously die. The previous winter it had dropped a big 8 inch limb across the street one winter morning and nobody would move it so I could get to work. A man delivering the paper stopped and helped me get it moved to the side of the street so I could get out.
They were stunned and said surely I was joking. The city was a Tree City after all. I told them I had already planted two new ornamental trees in my yard that were much nicer than a Japanese Elm and yes I was serious. The tree was going to meet with an untimely death if they didn't fork over some money and make it go away. Then they would HAVE to remove it.
A week later here came a tree service in to take the tree down. Only took me three years of calls to get it done but finally made it happen.
So if I could have gotten them to willingly take down a nuisance tree without threats, I would have been doing a happy dance in the middle of the street.
No a heart scan. Tell is you have plaque on your arteries or veins around the heart.Calcium level is at 9.6 with me taking 1200mg of Citracal a day for my severe Osteo. I was taking Prolia for the Osteo until Sept when I got sick. Turns out it can trigger hyperlipidemia along with Diverticulitis attacks/gastritis/esophagitis...all of which I have. Needless to say I ain't taking it anymore.
Glad you're back, Jane. Hope DH comes through okay. Is headache better?I was caught up 3 days ago, bad headache since then, dh has virus also
