I dont remember the member but he left BYC not long after this.

A friend on BYC has made me an incubator with all the bells and whistles ! I will receive it thursday . next week he will mail me eggs as well. all free of charge. I am pretty sure i dont deserve such generosity but i had to share with all of you. I am very lucky indeed !

It's cold out, 24°F, snowing and blowing. The Man is coming home early today, at 1 pm. Washed 9 doz eggs and boxed them up for sale. Most are not mine, but about 2 doz are, from my green EE! Got 8 yesterday, 2 may have been pullet eggs, hooray!

I am planning my spring chick order. For dark eggs, do I want Wyandottes or Black Copper Marans? Also they have to be fairly productive and get along with everybody. What do y'all recommend?

no, I never did know why. Seems like his name was Jessie or close to that. It was when I was on the serama thread. I eventually took it apart and used the parts for my fridge incubator.

both!
I have had both.marans lay the darker egg but not the best layers. I like wyandottes. always sweet birds.

I looked for him for a long while. I cant even try now not really knowing his name. Maybe if I spent enought time I could search old convos.. Its been 7 years

Yeah 7 years is a ton of stuff to go through. I just get curious as to why people do what they do.
