Granny's gone and done it again

Change that to tear your hair out, only go to the bathroom when you're near exploding, and sit on a exercise ball by the bator all day and you've got me

LOL

Top row: my legbar (paired with EE)
Middle row: isabels and one legbar/isabel (paired with???)
Bottom row: cochin OE (paired with marans OE) and a Mae West (cochin) egg.

Think I'm going to set these, in addition to the other dozen from Texas.

Danna, if you like that blue better then I'll save you some (if she lays again). It's prettier than what I've got.

just do it!

remind me pls.....sp how many are left in the original bator?
and how many in the new one?

Well the original has just one live one now. I left the other in there cause there's still veins, I'll candle tomorrow just in case. they look small in the egg, might wait until Saturday to up the humidity.

8 in the new one. 2 EE eggs that were set on the 7th and the rest were set on the 14th. None are my eggs, all were given to me but idk how old the 6 are or even if they are fertile. They have 5 & 6's on them so I'm guessing those are the dates.

If I get enough large eggs from mine I might add them but I have a dozen eggs coming from mini horse next week. So idk, if I don't see any development by next Saturday I'm tossing them.

Ally, If you go to my profile and click the link under Jabber I think you will enjoy it. It helps me . Thats why I put it there permanently.

In a perfect world , No. I have always fed mine what the hens eat.   Maybe a different feeder for the scratch ?

Camping, what is checkers?  :gig   A burger joint?  :idunno

True, the extra calcium isn't supposed to be good for the boys. If you keep mixing the scratch in, they will dig through whatever is less tasty to get it.

My "horse chickens" have a rooster...all are eating the same layer pellets...never had a problem with "him" only eating that

Hmm maybe I'll just cut the scratch until it drys out. They still have some in the block. They might get some if they're good after work some days.
