That's why they are emptying your feeders...  picking through all the healthy stuff to get to the scratch.  Layer feed only in the feeder should solve that after they realize there are no hidden goodies.  I give scratch by hand, on the ground, where it can be scratched at.



What a day!     So glad it was a relatively simple fix for Robert.  And you had another angel around to help with the tire.      Was that the same tire I asked how many times you could use fix a flat on it?  and you said 3.  Guess three is the limit.



Looks super yummy, but you gotta have peanut sauce for the spring rolls! 

I have a cockerel in with them aren't they not supposed to have layer? I usually throw it on the ground but it's been so wet and icky in the run. And those darn chickens love mud! I swear they could be ducks!

So bantam eggs were infertile! Cracked em open when I found a weird bubble floating around the middle. Guess what? It had a doughnut yoke!

the other 2 just never developed, so no bantams from those. And 1 EE egg has slight veining that I can see.

The new incubator is blowing through water! I've had to fill it up 2x since I set it up on Tuesday night. Completely dry both times! Idk what I'm going to do when lockdown happens for that one.

I bumped myself off here trying to close a different thread.
Likes mean something to me. It makes me proud to know people like me or what I am saying. Its the same as an ovation. Some people dont care about them but they make me feel good. And he is up to 190 already.

Makes sense...I guess if i was on Facebook I'd understand better....but the ovation comparison makes sense!

Wishing, They sell the rallys/checkers frozen fries at wal mart here.. I dont know about the frozen ones but the fresh are very good. Unfortunately I wasnt there to order. LOL They shouldnt make drive thru es with no escape route.

In a perfect world , No. I have always fed mine what the hens eat. Maybe a different feeder for the scratch ?

i think they sell arby's fries in our stores...arby's is a fast food place down here..I wonder if they are all related?
