I treated everything including the barn cats and turkey.   I need to figure out how to clean the coop. Lisa, you know its nasty.  I want to dust it down when I treat them again. I swear I just dont know how.
I don't know how you will either Pam. I looked at my coops today wondering the same thing. What would I do if I got mite, not certain how I would treat all the roughsawn wood I have in them.

Oh that's good

I would say if the coop was empty & could be for days. They make a bug bomb that can be used in milk houses. Maybe they could be used in a coop too. Birds wouldn't be able to be in there for a bit I'm sure.

small coop floor tilts forward on purpose. (my idea) I only need the floor raked out then I can do the rest with a garden hose. Last yr. CB and myself laid a tarp down and we scraped it on to the tarp then dragged it to the peach tree. Big peaches !

Good planning on the sloped floor. I'm not certain even with a mask on if I could scrape it out.
