Did I have to say..or write.. that I was a bit sick last night? I should have knocked on wood. It's worse. Still not as bad as I usually get, but bad enough that I feel .. yuck.

In Lynchburg waiting for hubby to have his transesophageal echocardiogram. Woke up at 6 am. I think I had about 2 hours sleep. Possibly a nap in my future.

I'm back up. Couldn't sleep. Miserable. I get to finish the ER script and then go back on Tramadol. I hope 6 a day works pain wise. Maybe by next Monday they will be strong enough. Now I have found another less hurt rib on my lower left side. Nothing like the others. Left knee is banged up bad too. It already was in pain from arthritis. l'll get through this. I've always managed before. This is just the worst. Even worse than have a belly full of staples. Got me to thinking about the day I laid on on that cold stainless steel table while the tech took a pair of stainless steel side cutters and cut them suckers out. She gave them to me as they couldn't reuse them. Perfect for tackle boxes when fishing.

I am working to take some deep breathes. I don't want pew monia. It hurts like hell to cough as it is. I'm going to try and rample around on here until next round of pain meds kick in around 2.

Me too. Now they don't work as good as I need them too. I've got to stop the Tylenol too. I went online to Drugs.com to find out how much could be used for severe pain and there is a warning for it about long term use and liver disease. You just can't win at our ages. There is a danger lurking behind every label on every bottle.

that tylenol wouldnt be long term. Bad pain for a week or 2 I say you could take it but ask your dr of course

6 Tramadol a day? I would be out. Maybe out for good. Since my VM kicked in, I'm super super sensitive to medication. I can only take tiny bites of a headache medication. Then it feels like I've taken a whole pill..or more! I even had to lower my BP meds. That one's tough, have a hard time getting the right amount. I hope you get some relief soon. They say the third day is the worst, but you're passed that.

I've been on a medication with Tylenol in it since the 90's. Yes I get a liver test every 6 months. Doing fine.
