I cant take meds from other drs or I will get fired from the pain clinic.

Mine is for only pain meds. Valium is not a pain med. Ask and verify that Monday. That is important. What would happen if your primary prescribed an antibiotic for an infection? I know about pain mgt. It is important to let them handle pain but not control your life.

They cannot control what meds the hospital gives you either during a test. I don't know how long before the test you need it for it to be working. You need to find that out too.

There may be a conflict with pain meds. There are other meds that will do the same without conflicts. The docs have to decided this. From what I just read it looks to me like Valium may not be a good choice.
