Ally, Taking pup from groom tomorrow. google says 1mg. benadryl per lb. of dog. I have to guess at weight being around 35-40 lb. I have 25 mg. tablets /caps. not sure. I am scared to give it .

Don't worry. Give him 1 and a half. He can't really od from Benadryl. We had a dog in the kennel at school that got dosed 2x back to back because someone didn't sign off that they gave his meds. He just slept until the next morning then was groggy the whole day.

If you give 1.5 tablets, that would work for a 37.5 pound dog. Perfect.

Exactly. The school should take care of all that anyway. There is plenty of money going to the schools these days... it's just a matter of priorities. like teachers' lounges.
