I took care of chickens today, Not water. gathered eggs , gave them a couple nest boxes on the ground and sprayed weeds. I think I did pretty good.

Well. Hubs brought up a valid point. I'm not set up for chicks just now. So tonight, I dig out the brooder, get things set up and tomorrow...if they're still there it's meant to be.

No broody test needed. The period fairy came by for a visit a day early. Sorry to disappoint y'all.

I gotta say though. Even though hubs has been super silent about it...ever since I told him my suspicions...he's been super supportive and a bit more affectionate than usual too. So I'm thinking if the time comes if I actually do go broody....it might not be as bad as I fear.

Boo.... I wanted you to send me the chick. I'll have to figure out another way to snag one.

good evening everyone I am beat think I will go "zone" until I can lock the front desk up.

Was a good day at farm , The grain elevator is out of fed oats until harvest 2018

Maiah's little one is a DETERMINED eater, saw her "punch" the bag for more milk and lifted on of Maiah's hind legs totally off the ground.
