I do my best to keep those chicks heads above water but that one was just as determined to get it a drink of that hot bath water. How are these chicks knowing they need to get the water without being shown ? Makes me wonder if all of us dipping them is even necessary. I just always have these are beating me to it.

Put him on a table top and use a head collar to help keep him still. He'll learn with practice.
what is a head collar ? sorry , just seen this. Sometimes those last posts hide.
It's not like a muzzle, because they can still open their mouths. But it controls their head, like when walking. I used one on my last big lab, Gunner.
