Granny's gone and done it again

me too. same thing too. and it was such a small hatch. It had curled toes that fixed itself except for one toe that is bent.   Did any of yours survive ?

Only the odd one ever survived and then they were picked on and bullied out of food by the others as they were stronger. The last one I helped out lived for about 4 weeks with its gimpy leg but it started bleeding as it was dragging it and the others were pecking at it all the time so it got the bullet I'm afraid :(

uug, If you cant I know I wont be able to keep it alive. This was a sticky chick and Lisa told me to wash its rear end . I did and a poop the size of texas came out. I figured that was the problem but still not eating. So I gave it some oil mixed in the food and forced it down. It still dont have pin feathers either. Its not crying as much as it was.

Hi Jane! I live in Missouri. We had ice here yesterday, I'm kind of close to Springfield. It turned to rain later and it rained all night. It's 32 degrees now, but just really soggy. Most of the ice is North of us, with lots of power outages.

Morning stuff, Im glad you didnt get it bad.

If it was only bunged up with poop it may just need a bit of time to get its digestive system working again. Have you tried it with some scrambled egg?

I have been fighting myself over a stupid fish for 2 weeks . Im pretty sure Im losing..
I love my tank very pretty and easy care. I want a Siamese fighting fish . I swore I would never buy another. I hate to see them in those little plastic cups in wal mart. Its cruel. If we dont buy them they will stop breeding them right ? But there they sit. Looking so lonesome.

They sound vicious! I managed to keep some gold fish when I was a kid but that's about it.

How big is your crumb? Maybe grind/blend it down a bit so it's finer. If it's runty it maybe struggling.

And they live forever if you take care of them! I had one for 8+ years until my mom cleaned it. But most people get 2 or more a year cause of improper care.
