Granny's gone and done it again

With wild waterfowl it is best to contact a local licensed rehabber (you can find lists through your department of wildlife, etc) who is best equipped to raise them in a way that might result in them being able to be released as they should be -- in fact, being in possession of them without proper permits can leave you open to all sorts of issues. The issue is, these may not have been true "wild" ducks given that there are so many populations of released domestic waterfowl in places like where your brother released the ducklings - so they may have been the result of those birds mating.

There are at least five huge lakes in his neighborhood...
hundreds of ducks live their daily..
duck crossing signs (if the mean anything)...benches to sit and watch the ducks...everyone feeds them bread all the time..which drives me nuts...
his back yard butts up agains the gold course which is part of one of these lakes?

so I am guessing he could have left them in his pool but one pf his dogs would probably have killed it...or he could have "dropped" them back off at one of the lakes?
Im sure he did what would be the best thing for them...right?
But darn I would have liked to at least pet them before he "released" them!

do you know that just a few weeks ago I read/figured out that lettuce keeps longer if you don't cut it with a knife...
I had no idea?!?!?
Why are you cutting the lettuce before when you want to eat it?

with mashed potatoes ???

Oh, I might trade my first born for KFC mashed potatoes and gravy (even knowing both are completely "fake") -- while I was pregnant with DS we were moving from OR to NC and I think I stopped at every KFC we went by to get potatoes and gravy...poor DH was following DD and I (we were in the car and he was in his truck towing his other truck) and kept mumbling about "not making good time", but I invoked the pregnancy privilege.
shots daily or rabbit food?
which one sounds better
I'll take rabbit food!

Ok to celebrate I will go outside and pick up dog poop.

Bbl
You have a funny definition of celebrating.......but you can come party hard in my back yard any time!

My granddaughter, Audrey. Today she is three. Grandma got her the new boots!

Oh, my, she is absolutely precious!! Those boots are darling!!

Yes - always "break" or tear iceberg -- also, to store it longer with less wilting wrap the head in paper towels and refrigerate in a plastic bag - tearing off the amount needed for each use/serving. If/when the towel becomes very wet, replace it. Do you know about the "bang" method of removing the core -- where you bang it on the counter, core side down, and then pull the core right out?

y'all would kill me n ONE car ride to the grocery store!
Naw, the main roads are near always nice, except for when there's black ice out. I've slid to the bottom of the hill with my brake fully on before.... That was a bit dicey.

It's the back roads I'm gonna have fun with you on!!

28 MPH on a 1-lane dirt road with more twists than the original twisted acres... With five foot snowbanks in the small spots.... Cantcha feel the adrenaline rush from here?
