Granny's gone and done it again

We're having a small bonfire/cookout with some friends tonight, so I expect we'll be doing some yard work. :) What about you?
I was trying to catch up real quick on BYC before I run to the grocery store.
I am not a fan of the grocery store on Sundays...(it is always too packed) so I need to get on the road before it's too busy.
My brother is having a little family BBQ today so I may take the kids over there to swim after I cook and get DH off to work. (Dh goes in to work at 3:30 pm til 4:30 am)
So, I'll be around the house til later this afternoon.

(I think Im going to start a big pot of beans to take to brothers...thanks H2O for making me think about mexican food) lol

No beans at all. They had a lovely salad. Two different kinds of cactus. Lovely shredded chicken seasoned just right.

It was a child baptism. The Godfather threw quarters to all the kids.

It was fun.
Live music?

Sorry to hear that. Hope it feels better soon.

The storms yesterday all of the rain lately and the rough ride probably aggravated my back. We even had scenes from the movie Twister that DH and I were finding similar to what we were driving through and we were both cracking similar jokes at the same time.

Had to stop at 10 pm to get the youngest two children food. We ate but it was fast food and that is messing with my stomach also. We do not eat a ton of processed foods so an entire meal messes with us. Tonight I think I am making some chops and baked potato with corn and freshly made biscuits.

basically pinto beans in a soupy broth? with a whole bunch of "stuff" mixed in.

Onions, bell pepper, garlic, tomatoes, bacon, sausage, jalapeños, cilantro..
I think thats all I put in...
