Beetles are cool insects. Did you know they hide their flying wings under the hard outer "wings"?

Didn't ya have it witched for water before ya bought it ???

We bought a 25 yr old house. Well was already dug. We knew it was deep and refill rate slow. Made it through the drought ok, so lucky for us. We share with the uphill neighbor too. Can split the cost if another well needs to be dug.

I did actually get a little bit accomplished while out at the farm today. Fixed the small walk thru gate into gen pop and then got the wood off the old swather reel and the canvas conveyor belt off and some misc trash picked up and all thrown into the burn pit.

So the old bale elevator and the swather head are ready to be loaded up and hauled into the recycling center.

Pretty what ever it is pest tho it may be

Japanese beetle . I thought they went for roses. Seems there is nothing they wont eat. Stripping tree leaves to eating whole apples.

I musta had 10 of them land in my hair and down my shirt when I was mowing and bumped into a crabapple tree.
