Granny's gone and done it again

We bought a cub cadet weed eater at tsc today for half price. $70. They said that someone brought it back because it kelp cutting off. I looked and seen grass all over the gaurd and told pearl to pay the lady. Runs like a scalded dog.
nice, you still able to get the warranty ?

Oh how sad. I don't even know how to use a gun. When they are that bad it's a easy decision. Don't you have a farm or large animal vet that can come out and do it cheaper. That terrible. 180 dollars
$205 for me at the emergency vet, cremation included. I thought it was cheap considering.

This is cool! I need one! Can't hold things out in front like that with messing up my back, so this would allow me to weed whack. Wait a sec... what am I saying?... I don't want one of those!!!

Anyone here ever used that pvc coated hardware cloth ???
I have a smallish piece, and like it. Easy to work with.

Lost my quotes...

Wishing and twisted, sorry for your loss. Bestie, those things look EVIL. Are they a southern pest? Twist again, is that your place in those garden pics? I didn't think you lived in the 'burbs.

That's all I remember. Good afternoon, folks.
Thank you, Banty. :)

Think I'm going to have to get the other brooder out. The bigger ones are a week old and I can already see 2 Roos in the making.
You have a very acute case of chicken math! (get it? a-cute)

Sorry to you both. It's always tough losing an animal. Especially when you've had them a while. :hugs to you both.

Can't remember if I told yall or not . But a few mornings ago I told pearl that I was going to let the chickens out. The kids had spend the night company. So I get ready and start to walk out of the room when Pearl asked me was I planing on going out dressed like that. I asked her what was wrong with the way I was dressed. I mean good Lord all I'm doing is going out to the chickens. Wasn't like we were going to town. She then tells me to look at my wardrobe. Hmmm shirts fine, flip flops were a little dirty but not to bad. My underwear looked fine. Then it hit me. I hadn't brushed my teeth yet. I was wrong again. That's when she told me that I had forgotten my pants.
Thank you, Red. Good story. Poor Pearl!

I want that rooster. :wee

Hi red, how's my favourite NCer? :hugs
doing good. Went to a friends this weekend and forgot to tell granny. Waiting now for my punishment. She's making me wait like my parents use to do . Sure wished she'd just whip me and get it over with.

nice, you still able to get the warranty ?
didn't even ask. I figured I paid more then that for the cheapest I could find at lowes. I know that I can fix it though if it ever gives us problems.

Supposedly she's just super busy. Hasn't been on for near a month... I miss her.
I miss Sally too. Please tell her to hollar at me if you see her on.

Wishing that does sound cheap to me for the cremation. That's not a lot to spend for one of our family pets. Do you plan on burying or are you just going to keep it?

Thats a lot more then here. Including bloodwork , exam and putting Roberts cat down was $80-85.00 . Cremation was $10.00
