Granny's gone and done it again

Which meds?
Mycoplasma can be 'treated' with a whole bunch of drugs, but only one is approved for use in laying hens in the US, and that's tylosin soluble powder. In Canada low doses of oxytetracyline can be used, though it's probably not effective.

Tiamulin (Denagard), is said to be quite effective, but it's not approved for use in poultry in the US. Not banned, just not approved, so egg withdrawal is required.

Baytril (enrofloxacin) is another one that's effective, but it is flat out banned, which means technically you're never supposed to eat the eggs or meat of a chicken that's been treated with it.

I caught him. Robert already checked the garbage. It didnt run but I guess he had to see for himself. He lined up 5 one gallon jugs of water for 2-2 quart waterers. I let him turn the hose on which really is a mission for us as its a way rom the chickens and hasnt been weed whipped so then he fussed at me about getting the weed whip fixed. Theres nothing wrong with it I took the string out so he wouldnt try. Anyway , they had all they needed but I give them all fresh water anyway. I am soaked in sweat. yuck.
Pearl needs to know this trick for me.

what is ya'lls favorite all time joke ?

I could do these quizzes all day....
Great way to learn new stuff and to remember it.

I honestly don't care one bit if a medication is approved in Canada and not the USA..
I don't like medicines...and hopefully will never have to use them but if you can use one why can't I.
I'm not much on following what is approved or not.

YES!
Pm it too..
I'm about to walk out...park time. I"ll look at it tonight when we get back.
