Granny's gone and done it again

Clean it with iodine and use antibiotic ointment. If you have no iodine, use half water , half hydrogen peroxide. It is too bad vets are so greedy. They would get more business and help more people if they charged less.i called the vets office here and they want $150 to vaccinate three kittens. Vaccine is $7 retail. Might cost the vet $15 total. That is one hell of a profit margin.

I worked in a clinic. They charge a exam fee per animal, they need to be checked over heart, lungs, temp etc before vaccines. Because if something goes wrong they have to prove the animal was healthy at time of vaccination.
Mine charges $65 per animal. And that's not counting vaccines.

Good grief and they just make sure a lot of animals don't get vaccinated at that rate. I know they have expenses, but you can get it done at a shot clinic for way less. Just called Tractor Supply and they stock kitten vaccine. Going there for mine. I have a stethoscope and i know how to use it.;)

They do usually have a litter fee that's cheaper. Imagine the price of 8+ babies. Temp is more important, because it can make the animal sick if temp is up.

Another thing about vaccines is they need to stay cold. Vet offices can keep them cold but store workers tend to leave the boxes sit out. So basically if you get a bad batch due to temp you are basically giving your animal a shot of water. This is what drives me nuts.

Store clinics are usually ok because the people usually bring all the supplies with them in a cooler from the office.

Basically it's a maggot. And it eats a hole through the skin and lives in the animal or person:sick until it turns into a adult fly.
A type of fly that lay their eggs on an animal and when they hatch they burrow under the skin. Poor Granny needs to toughen up out in the country. You see all kinds of nasty stuff there.
Sound like tetsi flies from Africa
