Well to play the devils advocate...a LOT of the refineries are in Texas. Texas is kind of the main hub where a lot of Canadian oil products go for refining as well. (The things I learned as a legal assistant up there...)

So if those refineries go down, that's a huge hit on supply. The stuff they pump out of the ground is not the same that goes into your gas tank. (Or fuel tank, if you swing that way)

Sadly it's not something a lot of us have a say in. We need gas to go go work, get groceries, take kids to school, on a commercial end mass transportation of people and goods...

Morning hun, I'm still snuggled under my blankie on the couch. Enjoying my coffee & a slower pace this morning. I have to head out to feed the birds soon & after that start canning again.

Morning/ afternoon grannyland. Beautiful sunny day here in God's Country. They are even calling for a warmer week. Fingers crossed that they are right on the weather forecast. I am hoping for more tomatoes to try my hand at making some spaghetti sauce.
