Granny's gone and done it again

I can’t decide where to plant them. “Well drained” soil knocks out 70% of camp. I’m thinking on the north end of the garden, and then somewhere else.
what am I missing ? Plant what ?

Just add sand to your soil.

I’m strange I guess. I’ve debated tossing a fig tree or two in chicken area.
thats not strange. I would love to grow something in the coop/run but chickens will destroy anything tiny , chicken poop will over fertilize and burn it up and I have a top on the run . I figured it out ! I put my old fake xmas tree in there. hahahhaa

Fig trees!

Soil is 90% sand already. There’s a quarry a couple miles down the road. But most of the camp has standing water when we get summer rains.

One of my chicken customers has a big fig tree on each corner of his chicken run. He loves it.

Im not sure what to do w/ my beans. Tom wont eat anymore. said they hurt his stomach like before. My butt is sore from them. LOL They taste so good though. Twists bone has the best flavor. I cooked them too long and they are almost refried beans .
