We already have wild quail. Coturnix will not sit on their eggs so no danger of populating the wild.

Then you need to lose a few more Coturnix and maybe wild quail will show them how to hatch and brood. Or, I guess you could capture the one loose bird.

There are 3 more missing. I was hoping they would hear the others calling and come back. I need to go check the animals. Bbl.

It's the recipe that MIL used to make. I loved her ribs. Well, it's sort of her recipe... she never wrote anything down, but she talked me through it a couple times. Woman could talk cooking 24/7-365. Oh boy

I think it was the dryer. It was something of yours and it was the external vent causing the trouble.

Another quail victim, but this one is just beat up. They grab the hens by the back of the neck or sometimes the head to mate. Sometimes they lose feathers and even at times skin. I have two off in small cages by themselves, and one is a male. I guess he lost the fight! I need to get more cages built soon. You should see how many eggs i got from them today!
