so not til spring ? I was going to ask you if you have checked out the marens breed ? I bet your buyers would like the eggs. They are all season birds large eggs dont remember how many but different colors as well.

nope the old gals will probably go in Jan or Feb. We usually get a Chinook then so the weather won't be to bad for the wacking/

You looked up the french variety doubled price. But your right about the eggs 150 a yr is terrible. Leave it to me to pick 2 of them because I need eggs.

don't do feed store chicks they usually don't vaccinate and GOD knows how many times they have been handled/dropped/or dead chicks have been pulled out of that bin.

I have only had a few die on me. Not bad considering how many I have bought.
