That would help. Very high taxes here. I wonder how other states can have such low property taxes. Our education taxes are at the state level because some many years ago someone sued claiming their daughter wasn't getting the same education as kids in towns/cities that had higher education taxes. Net result? Small schools got new things like foreign language in grammar school, our school lost it. Then of course there are local taxes as well.

Probably not. All that crap to still do. Shopping for others and whatnot. Baking and putting everything together.

I just wanted it to feel like Christmas this year. Supposed to be high 40’s and 50’s this week and next. And rain.

We had no mail Wed, one piece of mail Thurs (college come on for #2... sorry camping, he doesn't want to go to LSU), and I got several cards yesterday. I'd rather have one thing in the box than no mail, because you just never know. I have to ask the carrier when his day off is... seems sometimes the rural routes get skipped if they don't have enough people to cover, but they will deny it if you ask at the PO!!! I should have asked the neighbors. Carrier we had before would leave a post-it saying "no mail today" if she had nothing to deliver.

I am. Everything is building up and I’ve not been taking care of myself. It’s been nothing but running and doing things for others for so long I just need a few days to myself.


We have a lot of mix ups and missing mail when the sub runs out route.
