Your body can't absorb all the vitamins available in the veggies, so unless you are boiling them to mush, it doesn't matter steamed vs boiling. I almost always do a quick boil for our veggies.

I will cry if that ham is spoiled. I can work around the other stuff. Its just a little thing.
It's hard to spoil a ham since they are cured. It preserves the meat much longer than uncured things.
