3 am Sunday morning. Why am I awake at this insane hour? At 2 am I woke to sirens rushing by my place. The first set ok we have elderly neighbors I will go check on tomorrow. The second set told me nope it had to be a fire. Check the County paging system and Yep there is a fire in the woods about a 1/3 of a mile from here.
The sirens set off the dogs and the pups. I am waiting for the one pup to calm herself so I can go back to sleep.
Fire is out. The fire was in a wooded area not a structure, near a neighbor who is iffy at best. Tomorrow shall be fun to see if they come up.

Uh, yeah, pretty good bet there. Don't think I'd be tugging on anything a medical person put in a patient. At least that one wasn't connected into a vein or something. Pulling that sort of thing could be a big problem.

Waiting for Buffy to get out of the nesting box so I can give the coop a clean out.

If your girls are like mine, you'll go back, she will be out but replaced with another!

I'm going to TN for 4 days with dd & her 3 kids .Pray for my sanity.

Hope that goes well, I think I would be in the rubber room.

Hubs is also debating selling IT (aka the truck my nimble shred of horrible weather) to fund his tranny.

Maybe hubs needs to debate getting a part time second job to pay for repairs on the toy.

Ugh, so this guy wants to come see the SS i have for sale. We agree on 11 am. I wake up and discover he wants to come at 10. I swear i have no patience left at all. This guy has been sending me messages for a week. It will only be worth it if he actually buys all of them so i get coop space.

Ugh, so this guy wants to come see the SS i have for sale. We agree on 11 am. I wake up and discover he wants to come at 10. I swear i have no patience left at all. This guy has been sending me messages for a week. It will only be worth it if he actually buys all of them so i get coop space.

I would be annoyed as well. Even if he buys them all you know he is gonna haggle the price to the point it is not worth the time and energy to deal with him.

He didn't haggle price on the Sussex, he was trying to get my price down on the Polish. $10 for a rooster and $15 for hens is hardly high. I told him no, that is the price, it is VERY reasonable. He bought a pair of SS. Sigh. And he says he wants to buy some Polish next week. I am pretty sure this is the guy that wanted me to deliver the Sussex. Good grief.
Some other guy is coming to buy quail. I hope he gets more than one pair. Lol.
