They got rid of the mandate that says you HAVE to have health care, so the system that was set up will eventually fail because there will not be enough money paid into it as people cancel their coverage. Congress need to start over and try to come up with something that will work for more people without being so ridiculously expensive for those of us not getting it free. Businesses pay HUGE premiums for their workers now. Lot of smaller businesses can't afford it. Also, Obamacare added big costs onto the dr offices... they HAD to go digital and put everything, all records, on the computer system. Lot of dr's left their practices because they couldn't afford to do it. Most dr's here are no longer independent... they had to join up with larger hmo's and their charges skyrocketed. Unintended consequences. It helped some people for sure, but was not good for us.
The best thing that most people like is that you cannot be denied coverage for pre-existing conditions. Pretty sure they will keep that.

Salvias and sages also go well with rosemary. Things that are drought resistant.

Im glad peeps aint forced to take it anymore. Maybe one day everyone will have good insurance they can afford.
Try it and see what works. I make like a Christmas tree skirt out of the wire (circle with a straight cut to the center) and that is usually enough. It keeps the chickens away from my roses too!
I think the insurance companies are big part of the problem. They are in it to make a profit, which is fine, but there should be some limits. Also, there are tons of other models that don't involve insurance companies (like straight up pay the dr, or government paid low cost health clinics, or individuals being allowed to form their own risk pools- similar to what businesses do for their employees). I would like to pay less for my insurance for catastrophic coverage only, and pay the dr directly for regular treatment. Cut out the middle man. Dr prices would be cheaper if they didn't have to work through the insurance companies.

that sounds like a good idea for insurance. I brought my dr eggs. LOL

See? Bartering is another great idea. I bet there's no place on the dang medical computer system for payment receive: fresh eggs. Soon as the government sticks its nose into anything, it takes away your ability to make your own choices and we lose a little more of our personal freedom.
We have a large variegated ficus in the bedroom. Henry dug in it a few times, and we just set something heavy across the top of the pot. Not enough room for him to reach it from behind.
Actually, we have had that ficus for longer than we've been married. Hubs gave it to me when I started teaching. It was smaller then and was my Christmas tree for a few years. Lets see... how long ago... over 33 years. He takes very good care of it.
Raining so hard the tv satellite signal is blocked!
