Not sure if you all with dogs are aware of the dogs dying from eating grain free food. They rally don’t know the cause but a lot of 5he dogs are grainfree.

Thanks for the info! I have always wondered about that. I feed Scooter a mix of 2 or 3 different foods, so he is always getting grains in 1 or 2 of them.
Same with the cats. One of theirs is grain free, just tried it for the first time, and they LOVE it. Pick it all out first and leave the rest. I am waiting them out to finish all the rest before they get a refill. They sure have been bugging me about it!

Looks like rain to me! Hubs and I saw a beautiful rainbow on the way home from the coast yesterday. At one point, you could see the entire thing, and it was starting to double. Don't get a lot of rainbows here. Skies are usually solid gray when it rains.

That didn't happen to dad..he got hurt at army Depot, broken back & lots of x-rays + cigar smoking caused lung cancer which spread to his brain. been gone 42 years & I sure miss him.

Sorry for your loss. Father's day is always sad for me now.

I got some huge shipping crates, 4'x5'x 2' high. Really solid, made with 2x4s and thick plywood. I was able to cram 2 in the back of my truck. Paid $5 each for them, what a deal!

They don’t offer a not grain free senior food so...there I am.

My parents dog, however....mini schnauzer recently had a heart scare and they think it’s related to that.

I’ve had Peach flip flopping her whole life between grain free and not so grain free (depending on availability and affordability at the time). She recently had the full range of bloodwork done and came back all clear so *shrug* maybe the chicken food and/or poop she sneaks has her covered lol.

I dont worry about dog food as long as it says complete on the bag. I even give them table snacks once in a rare while. Like today they got the hamburger grease over their food. I used to feed Science diet only and yes, they ate less and pooped less but then they go and eat all the cat turds .
