They didn't get much sleep either... mostly in the morning. There are even more evacuations... my brother had to leave his house today, and he had power! The winds are still strong, and they don't want to risk people getting killed. On the (selfish) bright side, even though no power for us, no evacuation is likely... fire is moving away from us... and the winds have not been as strong in our area, SO... it is possible we will be toward the top of the list for getting power restored. No sense restoring power to evacuated houses.

The wind is super bad here. 40-50 mph winds. They cancelled the dog show today.wind ripped up all the he huge tents last night. This is crazy.
